Living in New Hampshire, I, along with most others here, look forward to the return on the loons after the ice leaves the lakes & ponds. I decided to depict our iconic northern aquatic bird with two newly-hatched chicks on their parent’s back. For the framed work, the birch frames are hand made in northern Maine. Mats are acid-free, with a creamy white top mat and grass-green reveal mat. Signed. NOTE: Because birch is a natural product, there may be variations on the birchbark. May be picked up locally by appointment.
